Here’s a fun idea…need a place to collect your earrings? This fun project holds all my daughter’s earrings easily (and it’s sturdy…don’t let it’s “cuteness” fool you). It’s backed with the thick plastic from the Prima Marketing flowers’ packaging. Tricky, eh?

The earring holder hangs from a binder clip (in hot pink) attached to the top of the earring holder. It slips over a silver pin in my daughter’s bulletin board. Easy as can be! The vintage card included in my kit was too hard to resist. It said, “Of all the material possessions you have, what do you enjoy the most?” The answer….Of course, JEWELS!

We all love our jewels…even if they’re more plastic than anything else. So make sure you treat them right!

Jenny put together a journal that is just so sweet! Most of the pages are set aside for journaling to document her daughter’s first few years, but she did incorporate a few fabulous scrapped out pages for funsies! Check out these pics of the cover and the pages that are scrapped.

So sweet! The cover is based on the cream polka dot cardstocck and accented with several different vintage embellishments, the Prima Marketing flowers and the alphas included in the kit.

Check out these project ideas that LBD Design Team Member, Jan, contributed this month! (Jan is the one that provided the flower tutorial that was so fun this month).

This is Jan’s 1st Day of School 12×12 layout. Being September…we got a few designer submissions of 1st day of school layouts. So you’ve got a few choices if you’re looking for specific inspiration about how to document that special day. Jan incorporated vintage cards from the kit, a vintage book page,  and a variety of papers…and, one of her infamous flowers (check the tutorial earlier this month for specifics on how to make your own).

Jan’s Photowalk 12×12 layout using the Sweet Elegance Kit from Little Black Dress Kit Club in September. We like the simplicity that is accented with the massively detailed flowers and the ultra detailed cutouts of the diamonds.

Jan contributed two cards using the Sweet Elegance kit this month. Thsi is the Laught Often card. Love the Prima Marketing flowers and the use of the clear stamp Glitz Design packaging.

This is Jan’s Thanks Card using the Sweet Elegance kit. I really enjoy the large scale scalloped edge and the turquoise coloring on the alphas.

This is Jan’s Those Eyelashes 12×12 Layout. Awww. What a sweetie, right? The yellow/pink combination is lovely and sweet and the whimsy added by the white polka dot tulle along the bottom of the layout under the floral layering and above the journaling is great!
