Little Black Kit Club Member? How? And Why?

Little Black Dress is what is called a monthly kit club. That means that each month we release one new kit that is immediately distributed to all subscribed members. Kit club members who receive the kits automatically each month are also billed automatically each month. Any remaining kits (if any) are available for purchase on the website (even without a kit club membership). Kits are released the first day of each month. Members will receive a sneak peek so they can prepare for all their Little Black Dress goodies the week prior to each release. Any special edition kits that will be released in addition to the monthly kits automatically sent out to subscribers will be available for sale to the public on the site. But Little Black Dress members are notified of upcoming special edition kits well in advance so they get first dibs.

How Long is my 6 Month Subscription?

This may seem like a silly question, but it’s a common one so we thought we’d include it. The 6 month subscription is not for any 6 kits in the next decade…it’s for the next 6 kits that will be released in the next 6 consecutive months. You can’t pick and choose which months you want to receive. But trust me…we don’t send it out if it’s not Little Black Dress worthy.

How often do I need to renew my subscription?

You don’t! Actually…Little Black Dress is such a basic necessity that we assume you always want it so subscriptions automatically renew. If you don’t want us anymore you’ve got to tell us. Be honest; it’s only fair. We handle breakups well. When members join they are required to purchase a 6 month subscription, but after that time period is completed cancellation can be sent in at any time. Just follow the cancellation guidelines! Cancelling prior to completing the agreed upon 6 month time period will result in an automatic fee to the payment method used for the subscription of $15.00.

How Much do Little Black Dress Kits Cost?

This question has two answers because subscribers get a discount! Anyone can access the Little Black Dress website and purchase any available kit, but the number of available kits is limited and will often be sold out after member obligations have been met. Subscribers receive the kits at a monthly price of $32.00. Kits sold singly (without a subscription) are purchased for $36.00. Check below for additional shipping costs.

When do I get my kit?

Little Black Dress ships out kits each month between the 5th and the 10th. One time purchase shipments and first time subscription shipments may be delayed by 2-6 business days.

How Much is Shipping?

We ship USPS. Shipping rates are calculated according to weight of the monthly scrapbook kit to be shipped and the zip code of the recipient. Shipping calculations will be calculated during checkout.

We DO ship internationally. Shipping rates will vary depending upon delivery location.

Does Little Black Dress Ship Internationally?

We sure do! We love foreign and exotic places. We typically offer USPS first class and USPS Priority International. USPS first class is only available for use internationally sometimes (it depends upon the weight, etc). If you choose First Class and it isn’t available for the products you ordered your preferences will be automatically adjusted to USPS Priority Mail International. But only if necessary! International shipping charges are processed separately so don’t be confused (or overly excited) by the automatic $7.50 shipping charges. We do have to charge extra to get your kit to you in your exotic location and the additional international shipping fee will show up as a separate charge on your preferred method of payment.

Kits Sent to Canada and Mexico:
- First class rate (delivery time estimated at 4-6 weeks): 1 kit- $11.00, 2 Kits- $13.50, 3 kits (shipping quote will be provided on a case by case basis; it’s not always available depending upon the weight of the shipment).
- Priority Mail International (delivery time estimated at 6-10 days): 1 kit- $18.00, 2 kits- $20.50, 3 kits+ -$27.50
All Other International Destinations:
- First class rate (delivery time estimated at 4-6 weeks): 1 kit- $18.50, 2 kits- $20.50, 3 or more kits cannot be shipped first class rate.
- Priority (delivery time estimated at 6-10 days): 1 kit- $28.00, 2 kits- $30.50, 3 kits + – $39.50

When Will my Card be Charged?

Little Black Dress will charge your card each month between the 1st and the 4th. For one time purchases your card will be charged within 2 business days of your purchase.

What if I Move?

If you move…make sure to let us know. And don’t wait until the last minute! We need you to personally contact us at info@littleblackdresskitclub.com if you need to make any changes to your subscription. To change the shipping address on your monthly shipment you need to email prior to the 1st of the month during which you need the new address to be used for your subscription mailings.

Is it Bad to Cancel My Subscription?

YES! Just kidding. No. We’ll still love you if you cancel your subscription. But there are a few rules and regulations…You have to fulfill the minimum 6 month subscription time period. If you cancel before it’s complete we have to charge you $15. Sorry! That’s the rule. Put on your big girl panties and deal. If you completed the 6 month time period then you can cancel at any time without penalty. We hate penalizing you guys! Don’t make us do it! All you’ve got to do to cancel your subscription with $0.00 penalty is to fulfill your minimum 6 months and then notify us at littleblackdress@littleblackdress.com over a month before the date at which you want to NOT receive any more kits. So for example: if you wanted to stop your subscription before you got the November kit then you’d need to email us before October 1st. We’re not being difficult. If you wait any longer than that we’ve already ordered your kit products!
