UR invited to Game Night! We love a good party. We love to be invited to a good party even more. And what’s even better than being invite to a good party? It’s receiving a fabulous invitation to a good party! I, for one, would adore getting this particular invite in the mail (or hand delivered, of course). Check out the CLOSEUP of the Game Night Invite by Brittany McLeod. Next time you have a party to throw…make sure it’s a good one. And when it’s time to consider the invites…take a page (or a scrapbook paper or two) from Brittany’s book…er…drawer. These definitely turned out AMAZING!

We completely adore this Hello Card Jamie created using this month’s scrapbook kit. Don’t you just adore what Jamie was able to do with her kit supplies here? We know we do! We particularly adore: the rounded corners mixed with square corners, the creation of the centerpiece circle using the variety of scrapbook paper patterns, the hello cutout in vellum, the staples for deco/adhesion of elements, and the misting of color that peeks through the tulle.

I love making cards like this to keep on hand so that I have them when I need them. And I adore Jamie’s hello card style. For more projects from Jamie, check here on the blogs, the scrapbook Ideas page or the Facebook photo albums.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night…tonight’s the night ladies and gentlemen. Are you going to track Santa’s progress using one of the online GPS systems capable of pinpointing him on the map? Are the kids going to stay up to catch him in the act? Is there an elaborate trap set for the reindeer on the roof? Have you been driving to look at Christmas lights? Are your gifts wrapped and placed under the tree with care? Did you already sing every Christmas carol you know? You’re in the mood then…for a little bit more fun and merriment. Tis the season! Here’s what the LBD Kit Club design team cooked up while they were feeling the spirit of Christmas this year.

From Alyssa McGrew – The Santa Card, using the Little Black Dress Kit Club A Swanky Notion kit in Dec. 2012

And finally…a big Merry Christmas from Valerie O’Neall with her Christmas 12×12 Layout:

All that gold worked out so well for Valerie in this layout. It’s just gorgeous! Here’s the supply list and the closeups:

CLOSEUPS:

Merry Christmas from all of us here at LBD Kit Club! We hope you’re having a fabulous holiday season with friends and family and that the joys of the season have touched your life in some way.

Now that we’ve all dressed up like our favorite super heroes and TV stars, asked the neighbors for candy and eaten it all in one sitting and then very quickly thereafter overdosed on turkey…it’s time for wrapping presents. Because unwrapping presents is great fun and there can’t be presents to unwrap unless we wrap them up! If you’re sick of the tired old wrapping paper…we’ve got an idea for you. Do something exciting and new. It’s time to whip up some fabulous gift wrapping that ‘s as amazing as your typical scrapbooking project. When we challenged the Little Black Dress Kit Club Design Team to take their November 2012 scrapbook kits and create some amazing gift wrapping ideas and amazing cards…they came up with tons of ideas that scrapbookers will love!

From Suz Mannecke…handmade giftbags will make anyone’s birthday extra special!

CLOSEUPS:

Or…when it comes to making the season merry and bright…you can just order them to do it on the tag itself. Here’s Suz’s Make it Merry gift tag and matching gift wrap:

CLOSEUP:

Then there are those who have that odd shaped gift that they aren’t sure what to do with. They’re sick of the candy-style wrapping and want something that will look completely adorable under the tree…try assembling a small box out of your thickest card stock! Check out this fabulous “scrapbook turned gift wrap” idea from Valerie O’Neall, an LBD Kit Club design team member:

It’s the most fun you’ll ever have wrapping a present. All that fun trim included in your scrapbook kit has never been so handy! Put it to good use and make your gifts the cutest on the block. People will love them before they even open them up!

And if you’re STILL searching for more ideas on making your gift wrap fabulous (and putting all that gorgeous trim from your scrapbook kit to good use right where you’ll be able to see it all the time)…check out another idea for making your own gift wrap from your own store of scrapbook supplies from Suz Mannecke:

It’s somebody’s birthday….Happy Birthday, Terry!

Trim and buttons and alphas and stickers and paper…they all come in handy when it’s time to make a gift look fabulous while covering it up. That’s the whole purpose of wrapping a gift, right?

CLOSEUPS:

And if you have a hankering for taking this one step further and not just wrapping your gift, but making a gift…another of the LBD Design Team members has you covered! Check out these projects created with the November scrapbook kit by Alyssa McGrew.

Great holiday gift idea: Embellish a notebook as a personalized gift your friends and family will love!

Or bake up some goodies and embellish the “typical” out of the nearest lunch bag. These can no longer accurately be described as brown lunch bags. These are treat bags that no one will ever want to throw away!

So…how are you going to wrap your presents now? You can’t just go back to regular, old boring wrapping paper after all of that, can you?

More ideas on how to add some fabulous to your gift wrapping without straining your brain or your budget…share them with us here or on LBD’s Facebook page. We’d love to hear about it!
